About T’binta
Ti’binta (Fatmata T.B. Kamara) was born on April 21, 1984, in Cairo, Egypt. Her educational journey began at the Women’s Movement Nursery and continued through Batah Contong Preparatory School and St. Joseph’s Primary School, where she completed up to class 6. She then attended the prestigious Annie Walsh Memorial School, earning her WASSCE before enrolling at Njala University.
At Njala, Ti’binta pursued a degree in Environmental Sciences and graduated with a BSc honors. Her professional path includes impactful roles at the Sierra Leone Broadcasting Corporation (SLBC) and the Environmental Protection Agency, where she applied her knowledge and passion for environmental advocacy.

Ti’binta is a woman of many talents and deep passions. She finds joy in writing poems and songs, singing, and teaching, expressing herself creatively and generously sharing her gifts with others. Her favorite colors, pink and yellow, reflect her warmth and vibrant spirit. Right-handed and remarkably articulate from a young age, she was often trusted as a key witness due to her honesty and integrity.
Known for her caring and loving nature, Ti’binta is admired for her intelligence, leadership, and meticulous organization. She brings laughter wherever she goes, grounded in a strong Christian faith that guides her life. To those who know her, she is more than a sister, friend, mother, daughter, and granddaughter, she is a force of strength and resilience.
