About T’binta

Ti’binta, originally named Fatmata T.B. Kamara, was born on April 21, 1984, in Cairo, Egypt. Her educational journey began at the Women’s Movement Nursery, followed by Batah Contong Preparatory School, and then continued at St. Joseph’s Primary School up until class 6. Subsequently, she moved to the Annie Walsh Memorial School, completing her WASSCE there before advancing to Njala University. At Njala, she pursued Environmental Sciences and graduated with BSc honors. Professionally, Ti’binta contributed her skills at the SLBC and later at the Environmental Protection Agency.


Ti’binta’s passions include writing poems and songs, singing, and teaching. Her favorite colors are pink and yellow, and she is right-handed. Known for her caring and loving nature, Ti’binta has always been a beacon of honesty, often cited as a valuable witness in her youth. Her personality traits include being neat, organized, intelligent, and possessing leadership qualities. She is also known for her sense of humor, deep Christian faith, and for being a loving sister, friend, mother, daughter, and granddaughter. Among the strongest women I have had the privilege to know, Ti’binta has the heart of a lion.
